Sheffield International College provides a number of pre-Masters programmes specifically designed for students seeking entry into the University of Sheffield that do not meet the above entry criteria. For Entry to Postgraduate Research Programmes e.g. MPhil, PhD Holders of a bachelor degree with a minimum of 60% or "first class" from a reputable university and a good masters degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognised university, will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate research programmes.
In exceptional cases, applicants with only a bachelor degree with a minimum of 60% from a reputable university may be considered for direct admission to postgraduate research programmes.
