Undergraduate Year 1

 AISSC or CBSE boards: 75% and above in 12th grade required. 2 years of study must have been completed. 

ISE - All India Senior School Certificate, from State Board: 80% and above in 12th grade required. 2 years of study must have been completed

Postgraduate 2.1

From a 3 year Bachelor's degree - 1st class (65% or above) (except for Universities of Delhi, Calcutta, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai where they can accept 60%). From a 4 or 5 year Bachelor's degree accept 60% or above. The institution must be recognised on NARIC.

Postgraduate 2.2

From a 3 year Bachelor's degree - 1st class (60% or above) (except for Universities of Delhi, Calcutta, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai where it can accept 55%). From a 4 or 5 year Bachelor's degree accept 55% or above. The institution must be recognised on NARIC. 

 Research programmes – entry to  research programmes usually requires a Honours degree with a first or 2.1 classification, or the equivalent if you have been educated outside the UK.
