ICSE/CBSE Board standard XII
Arts/Commerce stream minimum aggregate of 80%, Science stream minimum aggregate of 80-85%.
West Bengal Board Standard XII exams
Arts/Commerce stream minimum aggregate of 70%, Science stream minimum aggregate of 70-75%.
Maharastra (e.g. Mumbai/Pune) Junior Year
Arts/Commerce stream minimum aggregate of 80%, Science stream minimum aggregate of 80-85%.

- In the case of English Language, as evidence for English Language proficiency, we accept class XIIth grades with equivalent grades for up to seven years prior to entry
Other national Boards standard XII exams
Considered on an individual basis but an aggregate score of at least 85/90% usually required. Students failing to attaing the grades above may be eligible for the INTO Diploma, which is an alternative to the first year of a Bachelors. Exceptionally the University may consider students for exemption from the first year of an undergraduate degree. Such students students must demonstrate that they have covered successfully, and to the same depth, the topics covered in the first year of the degree to which they are applying.
Postgraduate programmes
- The University of Exeter requires applicants for Masters programmes (MA, MSc, MRes, MBA, MPA, LLM) to hold a Bachelors degree,Masters programmes you will be required to hold a relevant Bachelors degree with a grade equivalent to (2:1 or 2:2) or 70%
- Students who do not meet these entry requirements may be able to take a Graduate Diploma programme as an alternative entry route into a Masters in Business, Finance, Law or Public Administration. Details of Graduate Diploma programmes .
