Robert Gordon University, commonly called RGU, is a public university in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is a dynamic, modern place to study with an international reputation for providing high quality education from undergraduate through to PhD level. The university is committed to provide safe, secure and affordable accommodation for their students. They have accommodation at ten sites across the city offering a range of prices, rooms, flats and locations. All of their accommodation is self-catered. · Wherever possible the university tries to spread international students evenly across its accommodation sites. · For more information about the various accommodation options please visit the university website. University has various purpose built accommodation developments situated in the city and at the Garthdee campus. The flats are well equipped, and some of the accommodation has en-suite bathrooms, whilst the remainder has shared washing and toilet facilities. The rent you pay generally includes 24/7 highspeed internet access, all utilities, and personal contents insurance. In 2014/15 rent rates ranged from £69 to £189 per week.
Robert Gordon University offers scholarships to full-time, on-campus International students and full fee paying students from the rest of the United Kingdom outside of Scotland (RUK students). The scholarships are available on a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The maximum total amount of scholarships available to an individual student will be £3,000 for students from an approved Partner Institution and £2,500 for direct entry students.
