Roehampton is London's only campus university based in a scenic parkland location, complete with lakes and woodland walks, overlooking Richmond Park. The campus contains a mixture of architectural styles ranging from 18th-century, grade I listed buildings to brand new modern structures. It's close to the chi-chi London districts of Richmond and Putney, and central London is only a few minutes away by train. The vast Richmond Park, with its herds of deer and extensive cycle paths, is just a short walk from the university campus. The university is well connected to central London by public transport.

Its library houses more than 350,000 books, along with a wide collection of e-books and access to electronic journals. The library is home to the Jewish Resource Centre Collection and the Richmal Crompton Collection of books, along with archive material accumulated during the lifetime of the author Richmal Crompton.

Roehampton is committed to ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, fulfil their potential. Students will become the kind of graduate that employers value: a confident, critical thinker; adaptable, able to work well with people from all walks of life and with an ongoing passion for learning. The university prides itself on providing students with high levels of contact time with excellent teachers working at the cutting edge of their subject areas.
