English Language Requirement

  • Foundation course: IELTS 5.5 overall (minimum of 5.5 in all areas).

  • Undergraduate courses: IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum of 5.5 in all areas).

  • Postgraduate courses: IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum of 5.5 in all areas).

Undergraduate Entry Requirements:

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on an undergraduate degree:

  • Indian Standard 12/HSC (minimum average of 60% depending on exam board


Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on a postgraduate course:

  • Indian bachelor's degree (3 or 4 years) with higher than 55% from a recognised college or university.

  • Master's degree for entry on a Doctoral degree.


Integrated Foundation year entry requirements

A number of our courses also offer the opportunity to study an integrated foundation year which forms an integral part of the degree course.  Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry. 

On a degree with an integrated foundation year:

Indian Standard 12/HSC (less than 55%, depending on exam board)
 

Accommodation for International Students

  • All University of West London students over the age of 18 are eligible to apply for one of 810 single study rooms.

  • These are fully-furnished en-suite bedrooms in shared flats of six to eight people. There is access to a shared kitchen and dining area, with all essential appliances and individual locked cupboards.

  • A communal common room – The HUB – holds regular events.

  • Students also have access to communal on-site laundry facilities, and benefit from 24-hour CCTV  and reception cover. Secure swipe card entry is also in use on the site.
